Order Processing

Orders containing in-stock merchandise are typically processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking activity to appear after the confirmation is sent.

Processing times may be extended during product launches, holidays, promotional events, or periods of unusually high order volume.

Preorders

Items marked Preorder are expected to begin shipping on or around the estimated shipping date displayed on the product page.

Our first drop is currently expected to begin shipping September 14, 2026.

Preorder shipping dates are estimates and may change because of production, quality-control, carrier, or supply-chain delays. If an estimated shipping date changes materially, affected customers will be notified by email.

Preorders may be canceled at any time before shipment by contacting hello@shopdyi.com. Once an order has shipped, it must be returned in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

When an order contains both preorder and in-stock merchandise, available items will ship separately. Customers will not be charged additional shipping fees when DYI divides an order into multiple shipments.

U.S. Shipping

DYI ships throughout the United States.

Standard Shipping


  • $8 standard shipping on U.S. orders below $150

  • Complimentary standard shipping on U.S. orders of $150 or more

  • Estimated transit time after shipment: 3–5 business days

Your total delivery time includes both the 1–3-business-day processing period and carrier transit time.

DYI does not currently offer expedited shipping.

International Shipping

International shipping is available to eligible destinations displayed at checkout.


  • Canada: $22 economy international shipping

  • Other eligible international destinations: $22 economy international shipping

  • Estimated transit time after shipment: 6–18 business days

International delivery estimates do not include customs-processing time. Customs procedures, local carrier delays, and destination-specific requirements may extend delivery beyond the estimated timeframe.

Where supported, applicable duties, import taxes, and customs charges will be calculated and collected at checkout so qualifying orders can be shipped on a delivered-duty-paid basis. Customers remain responsible for charges resulting from inaccurate information, refused deliveries, or fees that were not included or supported at checkout.

International shipping availability may vary by country, address, product, and carrier service. DYI reserves the right to cancel and refund an order when reliable delivery is unavailable.

Delivery Estimates

All processing and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur because of severe weather, holidays, customs processing, carrier interruptions, incorrect or incomplete addresses, or other circumstances outside DYI’s control.

Business days do not include weekends or federal holidays.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Requests to change an address, modify an order, or cancel an in-stock order should be submitted within 12 hours of purchase by emailing hello@shopdyi.com.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, but changes cannot be guaranteed once processing or fulfillment has begun.

The 12-hour request period does not apply to preorder cancellations. Preorders may be canceled anytime before shipment.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Please review your shipping information carefully before placing your order. Once an order enters processing or ships, we may be unable to change or redirect the address.

When a package is returned to DYI because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, or unsuccessful delivery attempt, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the order.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable under these circumstances.

Multiple Shipments

Orders containing multiple items may arrive in separate shipments.

When applicable, separate tracking information will be provided for each package. Customers will not incur additional shipping charges when DYI elects to divide an order into multiple shipments.

Tracking Your Order

You will receive a tracking link by email when your order ships.

Tracking details may take up to 24 hours to update after the carrier receives the package.

Packages Marked Delivered

Carriers may occasionally mark a package as delivered shortly before it physically arrives.

If your tracking information shows Delivered but you cannot locate the package:


  1. Wait 24 hours.

  2. Check around the delivery location, mailbox, parcel locker, front desk, or building office.

  3. Ask household members or neighbors whether they accepted the package.

  4. Contact the carrier using your tracking number.

If the package remains missing, email hello@shopdyi.com with your order number and tracking information.

Missing, lost, and stolen-package claims are reviewed individually. Any replacement, refund, or store credit will depend on the circumstances of the delivery and the carrier’s investigation and is not guaranteed.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your order has exceeded its estimated delivery window and tracking has not updated, contact hello@shopdyi.com.

DYI may require additional time to complete a carrier investigation before determining whether a replacement, refund, store credit, or other resolution is appropriate.

Damaged Packages, Missing Items, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery.

Contact hello@shopdyi.com within seven days of delivery if:


  • Your package arrives damaged

  • An item is missing

  • You receive the wrong item

  • A product arrives damaged or defective

Include your order number and clear photographs of the package and merchandise so we can assist you.

P.O. Boxes and Military Addresses

Standard shipping may be available to P.O. boxes and APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses.

Delivery to military addresses may take considerably longer than standard U.S. transit estimates and may be affected by military mail procedures, location, and service availability. Tracking updates may also be limited while a package moves through the military postal system.

Expedited shipping is not currently available.
